Phuket (Pronounced: “Poo ket”, honestly!)

We arrived early afternoon and were met by our driver for the 1hr ride to Karon Beach where our hotel, the Hilton Arcadia is located. As I’ve said before, there’s a time to stay in a hotel, and a time to stay elsewhere. This was just right for our family herd. We plan to get in another tour and then have some down time to just relax and let someone else wait on us.

The hotel is a resort styled facility located on Karon beach with multiple room towers, 5 swimming pools, 7 restaurants and the nicest staff on Earth! Most of the family was leaving after a couple of days but Collette and I were staying for 2 weeks so we needed something with a little variety to occupy our stay.

Just enjoyable to sit and talk while having a few drinks and watching the sunset. Tomorrow another adventure. We’re off to visit Ao Phang Nga National Park and James Bond Island!
