Pete Petersen and the Parable of Procuring Premium Peat for Parliament
Pete Petersen, proud purveyor of premium peat for Parliament, prepared his plan for purchasing piles of premium peat per paragraph “P” of the President’s “Pledge to Provide” proclamation. Pondering the problems with purveying perfect peat perplexed Pete. But Pete prevailed and put his purchase plan into place and provided it to Paul.
Paul Paulson had previously provided perfect peat per the President’s Pledge. Primarily a peat provider, Paul also played piano in Paddy’s Pub part time for pints of Paulaner pilsner. Paul’s past time was problematic, partaking in pints of pilsner pretty much partying, playing and plastered all day.
Pete proceeded anyway and pleaded with Paul, “Please, Pete proclaimed, please put the “Promise to Provide” promptly in the post.”
Paul proceeded to ponder providing peat per Pete’s purchase plan and proclamation. Paul produced a pamphlet pointing out the parts (piled precisely, pan pressed, and produced principally on the peninsula) that produced the perfect peat for Parliament. Paul posted his pamphlet to Pete and proceeded to Paddy’s for a pint.
Pete previewed Paul’s “Promise to Provide” and proceeded to produce a promissory note to procure Paul’s peat.
Paul was prepared to provide his peat but perplexed. By putting his premium peat in Parliament, for a pretty price, his peat was depleted. “Will he need to repeat?” he pondered.
