Bags are packed, ready to go…..

Sounds like a song, huh! It is and we are. Ready to start our amazing road trip from beautiful downtown Fairplay to Gilroy California via Utah,  Idaho, Washington and Oregon. A bit of round-about but a nice summer drive and a chance to see some of this wonderful country of ours. Not a lot of hot tourist stops so maybe a good chance for us to find a few out of the way places that have some cool offerings.

We decided for a little entertainment on this trip to keep track of those outrageous and sometimes intimidating trailer names. You know, you’re in the campground enjoying a hot dog and then next thing, a trailer pulls into the spot next to yours. At first nothing seems disturbing until you notice the name, Hellfire Dominator 65. Yep, 65ft with twelve slide-outs, 70 inch flatscreen on the outside next to the keg tap, with 64 speakers and 4 power amps so you can listen to your favorite Rap even when your down at the lake!  The backend opens to reveal 8 quad runners, 6 trailbikes and Dad’s toy, a Monster  truck.  Of course they’ll observe the “quiet time” rule so that gives you time to catch a few winks. Ah yes, the joys of camping……….
