Let the planning begin! Next trip: New Zealand, Australia, Thailand

Just got home from France and now it’s time to start planning the next trip. In March 2017 we leave for New Zealand and the South Pacific for about 3 months. We already have our flights to NZ but everything else is a work-in-process. Looks like flights from NZ to Oz and then on to Thailand are fairly reasonable. Housing is still in work but shouldn’t be a problem.

So far we know we want to go Marlin fishing while on the North Island of NZ and do an overnight cruise of the fjords while on the South Island of NZ. In Oz we’ll be going to Adelaide to tour the wine country and make a short stopover at Coober Pedy. After that, head to Phuket, Thailand and a little beach time.

Once back in NZ, we’re looking at possibly doing a short jump to Vanuatu, Tonga or New Caledonia. Not sure about this one yet, need to check out the costs but so far, looks reasonable.
