New Friends – Kacy, Rachel and Emily

Of course one of the great things about travel is meeting people and sharing your experiences. This trip we met 3 lovely ladies who are real adventure seekers. Kacy, Rachel (sisters) and Emily (their friend) were also staying at the hotel and were just getting started on their Costa Rica adventure. Amazing how small the world really is. Kacy works for Raytheon Corporate so she and Collette had a lot to talk about while I had a lot to complain about (briefing Swanson, dealing with LaRouche and Sastri-the monkey brothers!). Emily works for a company that provides geospacial data and Rachel is a dancer and student. Great girls with a great sense for adventure, glad we didn’t have to keep up with them!  We enjoyed drinks at the bar and dinner together while discussing interesting topics such as , Roth IRA’s, cash whole-life insurance policies, Costa Rica and Thailand. Emily, if you’re reading this, get that Roth IRA and let your Dad rest a little easier. On the day we left, they were heading out to rappel down a cliff so they could dive into a waterfall from 30ft. How nice, too bad we couldn’t join them.
