Opening night for the Prague Christmas Market
What everyone has been waiting for, the opening of the Christmas Market! Not that everyone in Prague was there, but pretty damn close. Tons of folks, lots of food and drink, and a few vendors hawking everything from wool socks to ornaments to wooden Nativity scenes. We walked through, or tried to, for about 30 minutes before calling it and heading back to the apartment. Just way to crowded. We’ll go back tomorrow during the day when the crowd is a bit smaller.
Still, you can’t beat the electricity of opening night or a kielbasa and potato chips!
The sausage looks delicious! Wish you could bring some of those home!! I’m enjoying your adventures and am looking forward to your next post!
It was very tasty but we’re looking forward to even better sausages now that we’re in Germany. Berlin has over 80 Christmas Markets with the largest (and possibly the best) about 10 minutes from the apartment. Stay tuned for more…
